'Analog Kitchen'

- Asian Italian Fusion -

My dinner on the first day of May was in Analog Kitchen

which is located in Hannamdong.

There are the other Analog kitchen at Kunkook university though, 

on Sunday evening hannamdong is much reasonable to avoid the crowd.

The weather was just AWESOME shiny spring!

I and my friend wanted to eat something yummy but non-guilty.

So we chose looks-like healthy place.

(There were a plenty of nice places on the way Analog kitchen, so we had to resist all the tempting smells.)

It was tiny+cozy and there were about 8 tables in that small space. 

When an order is placed, this salad is served. Somewhat sour but I liked the plate :D

We ordered the signature

'Grilled calamary with rice(Roasted squid with rice)'. KRW13,000

Every table had this one.

Roasted squid + black rice + garlic chives + mungbean sprouts + sunny-side egg + soy sauce + idk sauce

feat. scissors.

Cut squid by scissors, mix all and eat.

We were hungry.

It was yum.

Salty healthy kind?

And the garlic chives added a great smell as well.

'Blue crab spaghetti (Cream pasta with crab)' KRW17,000

Cream pasta + crab + flying fish roe + rice cake + spicy chili

I like almost every food.

yummy.

And cream pasta with chili was good.

For dessert we visited 'Paul Bassett' across Analog kitchen.

The whole 5 floors were for this cafe.

Actually it was my first visit to Paul Bassett. All of my friends asked me "How come!?"

They didn't show in the places I walked around.

(Plain roll cake. Not recommended. ^^)

I liked its interior, coffee, dessert

and most of all, its rooftop.

The view, atmosphere, sky, people, trees and everything was in a perfect mood..!!!

'Asia Moon'
- Asian food (Vietnam, Thailand....) -

On nice sunday, my stomach was still unwell.

Actually, it was not so bad

since it helps me lose my appetite which is good for me to greet for coming summer!

It seemed like western food would not comfort my stomach at all, we tried to look for some Thai or Vietnamese restaurant near Yatap station. But we just ended up where we’ve been before.

Asia moon is fusion Asian restaurant, they serve mainly Vietnamese and Thai food. (They might have other countries’ food though, it never caught my eye. I love thai! I love viet!)

Last time, padthai(?) and nasigoreng were okay. (Our everyday menu..)

But this time, we decided to try something different(?).

FOOD.

We ordered this.

For the chicken one and the rice, you have another options as well, which I don’t remember by now.

This one tasted so great. Most of the pieces were eaten by me..

They serve this scissors to cut this food, (I got to know that for westerners it is really odd to use scissors to cut food though, it is so useful.)

It's been so long since I visited Garosugil in the day time. 

In a perfectly nice weather, it felt great hanging around there.

As my friend and I felt like eating some Asian food, we came across a small sushi place.

Because we started to starve, just went inside. Unlike simple outside, it was quite crowded. 

Most of them were women.

While we looking at menu, manager served us small cups with egg in it. :D !! (gye-ran jjim)

It tasted like smoked egg! It helped me to forget to take a photo of the menu..

Small seafood is hidden underneath.

DRINKS.

[ Craft beer --- \9,000 ]

This is its house owned craft beer called SMAK DOWN.

 We both liked it! 

Tasted good and easy to drink. But the % doesn't seem so high :(

++ I just found out it was 5.2% alcohol. ^?^

FOOD.

[ Rice with salmon --- \15,000 ]

Yum :-3 Underneath the salmon, the rice was mixed with sesame oil and sesame.

Salmon was quite thick and soft..

I don't know how to describe it more.

The best Rice with salmon that I had was near Seogang Univ.

It was sooooo delicious, maybe because it was free ^^

I think the texture? of the salmon is similar with that one.

And..

Sushi..

salmon, soy shrimp, octopus, idk-fish with Kimchi and cooked idk-fish

Two pieces of flatfish(maybe?), idk-fish, still idk-fish

For two people, the rice with salmon and the 10 pieces of sushi were quite a lot.

Maybe beer made us full.
